Heinz Lesener


Heinz Lesener (* 24 August 1919 in Stettin, † 11 June 2011 in Teterow) was a German teacher and politician (SED). He was Lord Mayor of Stralsund from 1965 to 1971. Edit LifeQualtext

Heinz Lesener was active as a trainee after his school visit from March 1936, before he started a technical training in April 1938, which he broke up in February 1940 in order to fight his war service. He remained a soldier until May 1945.

After his expulsion, he continued his professional education in September 1945 and concluded this in August 1946. He qualified as a mechanical engineer and completed a teacher's and a jurisprudence in Greifswald and Potsdam and joined the SED. He was a school councilor in Löcknitz, district chairman of the trade union education in Rostock, and from 1959 on in the state service. He was chairman of the Council of the Circle of Wismar until 1965.

On 4 November 1965 he became Lord Mayor of Stralsund and remained until 19 April 1971. On that day, he was dismissed by the mayor's office from the mayor's office. Single-level Edit source text Lord Mayor of the Hansestadt Stralsund
