Eduardo Urrejola González


Eduardo Urrejola González (born August 19, 1938) is a Chilean lawyer and teacher. He is currently a professor of law at the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Santiago. He was a member of the state defense council for many years, leaving the position due to compliance with the institution's maximum working age at age 75 in 2013.

He comes from Concepción and concrete his studies of law in the PUC of Santiago. (1965-present), Andrea Urrejola (1968-2012) and Francisca Urrejola (1972-present).

Biography

He entered the Faculty of Law of the Pontifical Catholic University of Chile, obtained the title of lawyer in 1962. Between 1963 and 1968 he was lawyer of the Channel Society of the Maipo. From 1968 to 1973 he was Chief Attorney at the San Miguel Judicial Assistance Service. In 1974, he joined the PUC as a Full Professor and remains so until today (2010). In 1994 he was appointed Director of the Legal Clinic of the Faculty of Law of the PUC, a position he held until 1998. Since 1989 he is Counselor Counselor of the Defense Council of the State of Chile, being President of the Criminal Section. In case of missing the President of the Council Urrejola is the first subrogant. Private life

He is married to María del Pilar Montenegro Sanchez and has three children; Eduardo, Andrea and Francisca
