First Time (Venezuela)


Primera Hora was a free Venezuelan daily that circulated from Monday to Friday only in the Caracas metropolitan area. It belonged to C. A. Editora El Nacional. History

It was released on June 29, 2005. Its format was tabloid, and had 16 pages where the current sections, world, country, city, science and health, sports, entertainment, technology, people and billboard were developed. Its director was the journalist Alba Sánchez. The newspaper did not have specific editorial line, nor published publishers or articles of opinion. The articles were simple, clear and precise, making them easy to be understood by those users not accustomed to reading traditional newspapers.

On March 5, 2014, the newspaper stopped printing because of a lack of paper.
