Civic Battalion Mobilized "Conception"

The Mobilized Civic Battalion "Concepcion" was a military unit of the Chilean Army during the Pacific War created and mobilized (integrated to the army) on June 26, 1880. On June 21, 1880, it was decreed that of six companies of 150 men each. During the Campaign of Lima it integrated the 3. division under the command of Lieutenant Colonel Jose Seguel and fought in the battles of Chorrillos and Miraflores 13 and 15 of January of 1881. Only in the last, the battalion of almost 700 men had 32 dead, 80 injured and four missing.

He participated in the battles of Chorrillos, Miraflores, San Pablo and Huamachuco. Bibliography
