The Northeast Information Service of Spain (SIFNE) was an espionage service created during the Spanish Civil War in the area of ​​rebellion. It was created in August 1936 by General Emilio Mola, although the leadership also highlighted José Bertrán and Musitu and José Quiñones de León. Its scope of operations was in the republican zone, with Biarritz with its main base of operations. The SIFNE established an important espionage network in Barcelona and Catalonia.

He disappeared in February 1938, when he was integrated into the Military Information and Police Service (SIPM).
