Rollaug

Rollaug (old Norse: Rollaugr) was a Viking caudillo, king of Garðaríki, according to the saga Hervarar. His son and Crown Prince was given for dead due to a hunting accident and the king of the Goths, Heidrek, who was visiting the kingdom was accused of his death. Rollaug had his entire entourage executed and captured, condemning him to be burned alive. The death of the prince was a false rumor, since he survived and in compensation for the losses, Rollaug granted Heidrek the hand of his daughter Hergerd, who gave him a granddaughter named Hervör.
