Nejtralnyj Turkmenistan

Nejtralnyj Turkmenistan (Russian Нейтральный Туркменистан, "neutral Turkmenistan") is a Russian-language newspaper from the Turkmen capital of Ashgabat. It is issued by the Turkmen government, the monthly circulation is about 23,000 copies. The newspaper is the official newsletter of the country's government. It appears since November 1924, from its foundation until 1995 it bore the name Turkmenskaja Iskra (Туркменская искра). Several years after Independence, in 1995, she was renamed to Nejtranlnyj Turkmenistan. As early as the Soviet era, the Turkmenskaya Iskra was the party of the Central Committee of the Turkmen Soviet Republic.
