Juan Marín Naranjo


Juan Marín Naranjo, with an artistic name "El Juani" was born in Fernán Núñez in 1985. His passion for flamenco guitar was born in the surroundings of the Peña Flamenca "El Mirabrás" by Fernán Núñez, whose father , a good fan, is a partner. From childhood he lives only for guitar and soon begins in this difficult art in the cozy atmosphere of the rock, one of the most active in Cordoba and his province so he does not lack opportunities to accompany prestigious cantaores, although his p focus on flamenco guitar concert.

In 2004 he won the "Young Flamenco" Contest of the Provincial Council and the Provincial Federation of Flamenco Peñas de Córdoba. He won a prize in the contest of Alhaurín de la Torre (Malaga) and achieved his first major triumph by taking the Guitar Fields Prize in 2004 in close competition with other guitarists of very high level in Andalusia and other places in Spain. >

Also in 2004, after passing the selection, he participates in the prize-selection phase of the 17th National Flamenco Art Contest in Córdoba in the concert guitar section, under the Manolo Sanlúcar prize. It does not obtain prize, but in the opinion of the experts it has an outstanding performance in which it reveals its cleaning and virtuosity in the execution.

In 2005 he won the National Contest of Young Amateurs in Jaén. In 2005 he won the Guitar Competition "Manuel Cano" in Ogíjares (Granada). In 2006 he won the Andalusian Contest for Young flamenco singers, guitar and dance, in Seville.

In 2007 he won the 2nd prize of the Guitar Competition at the Cante de las Minas Festival in La Unión (Murcia).
