Bernabe of Modena

Bernabé de Modena (Italian: Barnaba da Modena) was an Italian-style Italian-Gothic painter from the mid-14th century, who worked in Lombardy.

There is a painting of him in the church of San Francisco in Alba.

A Virgin and Child of Frankfurt am Main, was painted in a Byzantine style.

Two of his works are preserved in the Museum of the Cathedral of Murcia: the altarpiece of the Virgen de la Leche, made in 1367 under the patronage of the Manuel family and the polyptych of Saint Lucia, commissioned by the Oller family. Both works are among those that contributed to spread the Italian Gothic style in Spain.
