Otón de Lotaringia

Otto († 944), was the Count of Verdun by inheritance and from 942 Duke of Lotaringia by the appointment of Otón I, Emperor of the Holy Roman Empire Germanic. He was the son of Count Ricwin († 923) and his first wife, who was probably a Luitpoldinga. Thus, it relates to Otto, who at the same time explains his name and appointment to such a high office.
