La Gaia Scienza is an Italian chamber music ensemble consisting of a string quartet and a pianist. It is directed by Paolo Beschi, who had previously founded the "Il Giardino Armonico" ensemble, of which he already knows his fellow musicians Federica Valli and Stefano Barneschi.
