Cyon is a South Korean company specializing in the manufacture of mobile phones. It belongs to the group Cyon, acronym of Cyber ​​On. It started its activities in 1997.

Originally it was a battery supplier for LG Electronics, and in 1997 it started manufacturing phones under the Cyon brand. It is currently targeting the domestic markets of Japan, China, Europe, Australia, the United States and Canada. Its terminals are characterized by a careful design and incorporating the latest technology in mobile phones: OLED screens, Bluetooth connectivity, etc. To date, its main patented technology has been CDMA (Code division multiple access), but has plans to continue research in the field of mobile telephony.

In spite of its youth and of not belonging to any great technological company, Cyon has presence all over the world. Cyon's handsets are marketed in 25 countries. Its main markets are the Far East, the United States and Europe.
