Roberto Pérez de Alva


Roberto Perez de Alva Blanco (April 2, 1954). He is a Mexican politician, member of the New Alliance Party, has been Federal Deputy and Senator for Baja California.

Roberto Perez de Alva is a normalist teacher, entered political activity as a member of the Institutional Revolutionary Party and held positions in the National Union of Workers of Education (SNTE), where he served as Secretary of Organization, Labor and Conflicts, Secretary of Finance and Secretary General of Section 37, and Secretary of Organization and Labor Rights of Region VI of the National Executive Committee. He was elected Deputy to the Congress of Baja California and in 1997, elect Federal Deputy by the V Federal Electoral District of Baja California to the LVII Legislature, position that concluded in 2000, when in turn was elect senator of first minority for the period that concluded in 2006. After finishing his term as legislator, he resigned the PRI and joined the New Alliance Party. In 2007 he joined the Electoral Policy Coordination of the New Alliance Party, it was not until 2013 that in an extraordinary session he was Secretary General.
