The Púrim de los cristianos is a special purim created by the Jews of Morocco to commemorate the defeat of King Sebastian of Portugal in Morocco during the Battle of the Three Kings.

In June 1578 a crusade of Christianity in North Africa ended with the Battle of the Three Kings. Sebastien de Portugal, his ally Muhammad al Mutawakkil, who died in drowning, and Abu marwan Abd al-Malikk, a Sultan of the Saadian dynasty, died. His brother succeeded him under the name of Ahmad al-Mansur.
