Milodón Cave

The Cueva del Milodón is a 200 m long cave in Chile. It was named after the prehistoric Mylodon (giant moorland), which was found in this cave in 1895 by the German adventurer Hermann Eberhard. At the entrance of the cave stands a monument, which shows a Mylodon in the original size. The cave is located 24 km northwest of the city of Puerto Natales in the region of Magallanes y de la Antártica Chilena (region XII).
