Gravastar
In astrophysics, a gravitational star of vacuum or gravastar is a theoretical proposal of Pawel Mazur and Emil Mottola, to replace that of the black holes. Gravastars are one of the consequences of conjecture that there are certain physical limitations that prevent the formation of black holes. The proposal of Mazur and Mottola suggests that the space itself arrives at a phase transition that avoids the collapse and the formation of an internal singularity.
The proposal has sparked little interest among astrophysicists, because although it was the title of a conference, its authors did not publish any scientific article. The lack of interest comes from the fact that the concept requires one to accept a very speculative theory about the quantization of gravity, and yet it has no real improvement over that of black holes. In addition, there is no theoretical reason in the quantization of gravity that explains why space should behave in the way that Mottola and Mazur indicate. Mazur and Mottola have suggested that gravastars could be the solution to the paradox of information in black holes and that gravastar could be a source of gamma ray outbreaks (BRG), adding one more to the dozens, if not hundreds of ideas that have been proposed as the cause of the BRG. Anyway, the consensus among astrophysicists is that there are far less radical and speculative ways to solve the two problems mentioned. Externally, a gravastar looks similar to a black hole: it is visible only by the high-energy emissions it creates when it consumes matter. Astronomers look at the sky looking for X-rays emitted by the matter they absorb to detect black holes, and a gravastar would produce an identical signal. Within a gravastar, the space-time would be totally stopped by the extreme conditions existing there, producing a force towards the outside. Around this vacuum there would be a "bubble" in which space itself would behave like a block of matter. The idea of such a behavior of space can be compared to an extreme form of the Bose-Einstein condensate in which all matter (protons, neutrons, electrons, etc.) becomes what is called a quantum state creating a super -Atomo.
