Epifanie Norocel

Epifanie Norocel (born December 14, 1932 in Mălini, county of Baia, Romania) was a Romanian Orthodox Archbishop for Buzău and Vrancea Edit LifeQualtext

In 1961 he earned the title of Diplom-Theologian at the Theological Academy in Sofia, Bulgaria. He then studied in Bucharest and Moscow.

Between 1965 and 1971, he worked as a professor at the church priest's seminar of the monastery of Neamţ, whose abbot he was from 1971 to 1975. Since November 9, 1975, he worked as a (consecration) bishop in the Romanian Orthodox Church. He has been Archbishop since 2009. Weblinks Edit sourcetext
