Courage or courage is a human virtue, which can be defined as the willpower that a person can possess to carry out an action despite the impediments. Courage is the ability to overcome such impediments and persevere probably with the intended action. Courage consists in facing valuable and important situations so that you overcome the fear of failure in them; is also understood as the force to do something for someone or for yourself. The opposite of courage is cowardice, which is the fear of doing something for different reasons.
Courage helps us feel good and proud of us by doing something that costs us or scare us. Therefore, it is important to overcome our adversities when we really need it.
Physical courage is opposed to physical pain, heavy work or the possibility of injury or death. The moral courage allows to act correctly in spite of receiving disrepute, shame, dishonor or social reprisals.
Another sense of the word courage, could be the one felt when a person is upset (synonymous with anger). Often many people use this word to express an oppressed feeling. For example, when something happens that displeases them greatly.
