Ashby is a story by Pierre Guyotat written in 1963 and published in 1964 by the Seuil publishers. The prologue in italics was written at the beginning of 1962, Pierre Guyotat being a soldier in the war of Algeria. The work was reissued in 2005 at the Seuil in the Fiction & amp; C and taken from the Folio collection (n 4718) at Gallimard in 2008.
