Hofmark Pasing

The Hofmark Pasing in today's Munich district Pasing has been mentioned in the documents since the 16th century with its own lower jurisdiction.

Leaders of the Hofmark Pasing were not only noble, ducal-electoral officials, for example from the Schwarzenberg, Neuburg and Berchem families, but also from Munich patricians. Schloss Gatterburg after the renovation in 2014

In 1814, the Bermer family overcame the Hofmarkbesitz to the civilian king of King Max I. Joseph. Thus the Wasserschloss became the property of Wittelsbach. After it had passed to Prince Carl in 1817, it was demolished and a country castle was built on the southern outskirts, which was extended to the present castle of Gatterburg in 1869.

With the new court rulings in 1802 Pasing came to the regional court Munich, the forerunner of today's country circle Munich. With the municipal court and the survey of Pasings as independent municipality in the year 1818, the order as Hofmark was terminated.

The patrimonial courtship, including the court's estate and the castle of Gatterburg, went to Ritter Felix von Hilz in 1834 and to Freiherrn Karl von Beck in 1840. Edit source text
