Baboucarr-Blaise Jagne


Baboucarr-Blaise Ismaila Jagne (* 11 February 1955 in Banjul) is a Gambian politician and diplomat. He was Foreign Minister of Gambia. Edit LifeQualtext Jagne belonged to the Cabinet Yahya Jammeh as Foreign Minister for the first time from 20 March 1995 to 8 March 1997. In a second term he held this position from 30 August 2001 to 14 October 2004. In the meantime, he served as ambassador of his country in Saudi Arabia from July 1997 to April 1998; then, between May 1998 and August 2001, he was Permanent Representative of Gambia to the United Nations in New York.
