Poste Vaticane is the organization responsible for the postal service in the Vatican City. The organization is part of the Postal and Telegraph Service, under the direction of the Telecommunications Directorate of the Vatican City Government. It began operating on August 1, 1929 and operates four branches.

Vatican Post also includes the Vatican City Philatelic and Numismatic Office, which is responsible for the issuance of commemorative stamps and coins from the Holy See.
