Argument

Set in mid-twentieth-century Madrid, four varipen characters (Rosita, Margarita, Florencio and Isabel) receive as many invitations to attend a party. Moved by curiosity they approach the village to find a surreal scene: Four elders dressed in 1900 fashioned on a couch and behaving as if they were circulating in a horse carriage through Madrid at the beginning of the century. Only Doña Adelita will somehow be able to provide an explanation. Chapete, the chauffeur of the house, suffered a fall 50 years before his mind was anchored in that moment and place. Since then, the rest of the inhabitants have been accommodating themselves to that parallel reality, marginalizing what really happened outside the walls of the house.
