Diana Cabrera

Diana Valerie Cabrera (born 18 March 1984 in Toronto, Canada) is a Uruguayan-Canadian sportswoman.

The Cabrera, 1.51 meters or 1.52 meters high, which brought a weight of 65 kg to the scales in 2011, began the shooting sport at the Scarborough Rifle Club in September 1999. The reason for taking this sport was the illness of her father, who possessed extensive weapon possession. He feared that he would have to surrender these weapons as a result of his illness. To prevent this, he asked his daughter to purchase a PAL weapon license. This desire came after Cabrera and began with the shooting sport. In 2006 she went to the Commonwealth Games in the discipline 50-meter-gun for Canada. Cabrera, now a member of the Uruguayan national team, also took part in the 2007 Pan-African Games in Rio de Janeiro. In 2010, the Cabrera, which works for the Canadian Shooting Sports Association (Canadian Shooting Sports Association), started in the South American games in MedellĂn in 2010, winning the bronze medal with a result of 573 points. This medal gain was the first in the Uruguayan sport history at this event during a competition in this sport. Once again, she joined the Uruguayan squad at the 2011 Pan American Games in Guadalajara. In the 10-meter air defense competition, she took the 28th and thus the penultimate place with 374 points. In 2014, she competed at both the World Championships and the American Championships. In the following year she took part with the Uruguayan team at the 2015 Pan American Games in Toronto. There, they took the 21st place with the 10-meter air gun and the 50-meter rifle. Weblinks Edit sourcetext Single-level Edit source text
