The Broadway Theater is one of the most important theaters in the city of Rosario, Argentina. Always linked to the culture of the city. History

The room was inaugurated with the name Cine Varieté La Bolsa in 1927, being at that time the room with greater capacity of the city. In 1929, acted as Joséphine Baker, the American artist who had conquered the old continent with the sensuality of his art.

After a brief interruption, it was reinaugurada in 1932 with the name Cine Varieté Broadway, with the work "Spanish Tapices", becoming with time one of the most important cinemas of the Rosary.

Through the room, stars such as Carlos Gardel, who passed through the theater in 1933, and Libertad Lamarque passed by. And so did thousands of films.

The time was making it drop its public until its closure in 1999.

On November 7, 2002, it reopened its doors again as a theater when a special function of local artists led by singer Juanjo Cura and the Municipal Wind Ensemble led by maestro Fernando Ciraolo began at 8.30 pm. In addition there were the presentations of the casts of the Municipal School of Dances, the Study of Musical Comedies, the group Madrigal and the actress Andrea Fiorino.

In 2009 the hall has 2,000 locations, making it the largest capacity room in the city.
