The Partido Democrático do Atlântico (PDA), the German Democratic Party of the Atlantic, is a separatist regional party in Portugal. The most important political goal of the party is a strong autonomy of the two island groups of the Azores and Madeira, comparable to other overseas territories of the European Union.

The party was founded on 5 November 1979 and originated mainly from other, partly right, political groups such as the Frente de Libertação dos Açores. These feared a Sovietization of Portugal after the revolution of 1974, and they also demonstrated their willingness to move Portugal politically further to the right with bomb attacks.

Today, however, the party has little access, which is due to the fact that the autonomy of the two groups of islands is already particularly large. Both of them have their own island parliaments, can raise their own taxes and thus operate independently from the continental government. In the regional elections in the Azores in 2004, the party received only 248 votes (0.23 percent), and in the elections in 2008 619 votes (0.69 percent). In the parliamentary elections in 2005, the PDA received 1618 votes (0.03 percent) and thus also missed the entry into the Assembleia da República.
