Restoration of loads

Restoration of loads is a procedure to restore electric service to a large group of consumers when the electrical system has suffered a partial or total collapse, also called Blackout. The Load Restoration has a set of constraints that make difficult the task that the operators of the centers of operation and control of the electrical systems must make, especially for the lack of information and the state of emotional tension that the operators are found during the restorative state.

These restrictions or limitations mean that the time required to restore the service to consumers is extensive and that it is not possible to determine how long it will be necessary to achieve the restoration of loads.
