Max Weber (born 24 January 1931 in Jägerwirth) is a social politician and former Bavarian parliamentary deputy of the SPD.

Weber grew up in the Lower Bavarian county of Passau. As a toddler, he fell ill with child paralysis and suffered a permanent handicap. After a tailor's training at the company Loden Frey in Munich - the father of the later SPD faction chairman in the Bavarian state parliament Franz Maget was there as an apprentice colleague from Weber - he worked as an industrial cutter in the company from 1958 and committed himself as a works councilor from 1958 and starting from 1967 as works council chairman , In 1974, he was elected as Social Justice Secretary at the DGB Munich and in 1982 as candidate of the Munich-Moosach voting circle in the Bavarian State Parliament (10th election period).
