Marco Bonanomi
Marco Bonanomi (Lecco, Italy, March 12, 1985) is an Italian racing driver.
He has participated in several motoring categories including Formula Renault 2.0, Formula 3, Formula Renault 3.5, Auto GP, GP2 Asia Series and Le Mans 24 Hours.
In 2004 he debuted in the Formula 3 Euroseries, and in 2005 he was 11th. He then rose to the World Series by Renault, where he finished 13th in 2007 and 11th in 2008. He also disputed the 2008 and 2008/09 seasons of the GP2 Asia Series, winning a victory. In 2009 he ran in the European Formula 3000, resulting runner-up.
Bonanomi stopped competing in single-seater and joined the official Audi team in the Italian GT Championship. In 2012 he competed in the Blancpain Endurance Series with a semi-official Audi R8 from WRT.
On the other hand, Bonanomi debuted in the 24 Hours of Le Mans of 2012, resulting third absolute with an official Audi R18. In 2014 he disputed two dates of the World-wide Championship of Resistance with Audi: was fourth in the 1000 km of Spa-Francorchamps and left in Le Mans. In 2015, it will dispute the dates of Spa-Francorchamps and Le Mans of the World-wide Championship of Resistance. He will also race in the Blancpain Endurance Series and the Blancpain Sprint Series with an Audi R8 from the ISR team.
