Egosa
Egosa is the Iberian settlement of the municipality Flavio de Egara, quoted by Ptolemy in his Geography, which has found some ceramic pieces with Iberian inscriptions at the confluence of the torrents of VallparadÃs and Monner, in the subsoil of the churches of San Pedro of the park of VallparadÃs, in Tarrasa. There have also been isolated finds of Iberian coins outside the San Pedro neighborhood. However, it has been speculated that the name Egosa should be called into question since it can be a mistake in the transmission of Ptolemy's text throughout the Middle Ages and that, probably, the name of Egara already valid in Iberian times.
