Eduardo Bergés was a tenor born in Zaragoza on September 2, 1852 and died in Madrid in the 1920s. Biography

It was a tenor of great voice and category. In 1876 he traveled to Cuba to perform at the Albisu theater the work La vuelta al mundo de Barbieri. After returning and triumphing in Andalusia with works of repertoire as the Maestro Campanone sang in the theater of the Zarzuela and the theater Apollo of Madrid alternating in both in the decade of 1880.

In 1909 he received a tribute from the public and all his comrades in the theater of the Zarzuela. He had been away from the scene for years, suffering hardship and working in a position he had been offered at the Madrid City Hall. Bergés sang some numbers of his repertoire, with the same success as always and received enthusiastic and affectionate applause.
