The Rollers from Frankfurt am Main are the oldest rock band in Hessen, with an average age of 72 years (as of 2009), and have been known for their songs such as Rollin by the "Rente" and "Born to Be Wild". The band was founded in 2002 during a casting of the TV broadcast Maintower of the Hessian Rundfunks and consists of six women and 19 men.
