Candomblé Jeje
The Candomblé Jeje is the candomblé that gives worship to the Vodun of the Kingdom of Dahomey, introduced in Brazil by enslaved Africans from various regions of West Africa and Central Africa.
In Fon mythology, these vodunts are divinities. When they arrived in Brazil, the various ethnic groups (fon, ewé, fante, ashanti, mine) were called yeye, and deployed their cult in Nagé de Bahia, Salvador de Bahia, Cachoeira de Bahia, São Felix de Bahía and São Luís de Maranhao, and then spread to several Brazilian states.
