Monastery of the Franciscan Tercarians (Freising)

The Monastery of the Franciscan Tercarians was a former Monastery of the Terciaries of St. Francis in Freising in Bavaria in the Diocese of Freising. It was founded in 1484 by Sixtus of Tannberg, Bishop of Freising; it was dissolved in 1551. Until the early 19th century the buildings were inhabited by secular nurses, after which they served as private apartments. The buildings were demolished in 1877, today a new building is on the site of the former monastery. Weblinks Edit sourcetext
