Machland bike path

The Machland Cycle Route (also Machlandweg) is an approximately 20-kilometer-long Upper Austrian cycle trail, which leads as an alternative route to the Donauradweg through Machland. Edit source text

The cycle path, marked with the abbreviation of the Upper Austrian cycle route R29, branches off from the Donauradweg (R1) in Au on the Danube , which runs across the southern city and the ASKÖ Sportplatz across the Naarn.

At the Heubrücke in the village of Kickenau, the two routes meet again and the cycle path follows the Naarn towards Mitterkirchen in the Machland, where shortly after the Keltendorf Mitterkirchen a few kilometers east of the power station Wallsee-Mitterkirchen flows back into the Donauradweg. p>

In general, the cycle path, which runs almost exclusively on asphalt stretches with little traffic, is described as easy and suitable for families with children. Weblinks Edit sourcetext Single-level Edit source text
