Land mobility is a military term and refers to the military movement of soldiers and equipment on land. This can be done on foot (march), with military animals or above all with land vehicles. A high level of land mobility is the rapid transfer of troops.

The land mobility is crucial in conventional wars in order to react quickly to the military situations (attack / withdrawal). It can be decisive for the outcome of wars. The war against the Soviet Union of the Wehrmacht failed v.a. due to poor land mobility (defective / frozen vehicles). Edit source text
