Maria Angélica Mondaca


María Angélica Mondaca Jara (Concepción (Chile)) is a biochemist specializing in microbiology, PhD in Biological Sciences at the University of Concepción (1995). Its main lines of investigation include the detection of genotoxic compounds by microorganisms and the interactions between metals and bacteria.

She has participated as researcher or co-investigator in more than 10 studies of the National Commission of Scientific and Technological Research in Chile. In addition, he is a professor in the Department of Microbiology at the Faculty of Biological Sciences at the University of Concepcion.

She is currently the principal investigator of the Laboratory of Environmental Microbiology, Department of Micorbiology, Faculty of Biological Sciences, University of Concepcion. Research Projects
