Parnadjom of Iberia


Farnadjom, also known as Parnajom, was king of Iberia between the years 112 a. C. and 93 a. C.). It was the fourth of the parnavázida dynasty.

It happened to his father Mirian I to his death in 112 a. C.

He erected an idol of the pagan god Zaden in his capital Mtskheta and founded the city of Nekresi.

In 93 a. , Was overthrown and assassinated by the Armenian prince Arshak, who became the next king of Iberia and founded the reigning new dynasty of the Arsácidos.

His one-year-old son, Mirian (Mirvan), survived and found refuge in the Parthian court. He recovered the throne of his father in 32 a. C.
