113 (band)

113 is a French hip hop group of African and Caribbean roots formed in the Parisian suburb of Vitry-sur-Seine. Their most famous song is Tonton du Bled (translated like "uncle of the pueblucho"). The name of the group comes from the name of the official protection building in which the members of the group spent much of their youth, although it also takes into account the name of the group of American R & amp; B group 112.

Controversy

In November 2005, a member of the French UMP party, François Grosdidier, included the group in their complaint against the rap groups which, he said, incited racism and hatred. Many personalities on the left criticized him for considering his action an attempt at censorship. Members Albums
