League of Nations loan
Völkerbundbonds were a series of government bonds issued with the collaboration of the League of Nations in the 1920s.

These bonds should allow the countries, which are no longer creditworthy after war and inflation, to provide access to private investors. The League of Nations itself did not pledge for the loans, but it assumed a control function. The bonds were hedged by real estate or tax and customs duties.
