Jurakische Sprache
The Jurassic Language (Eastern Native, also Jurassic) is one of the Samoyedic languages. Together with the Finno-Ugric languages, these form the Ural language family.
Jurakically belongs to the Northern Samedian language group. It was spoken in the Siberian tundra west of the Yenisei and in the region of Taimyr east of the Urals. Jurakisch represented a dialectal bridge between Enzian and Nenzisch, but is usually regarded as a language of its own.
Jurassic was extinct in the early 19th century. The language is not much known. One of the most important sources is the records of the Finnish linguist Matthias Alexander Castrén from the middle of the 19th century. The speakers of the Jurakic were fully developed in Nenzia.
