Juozas Bertašius

Juozas Bertašius (born 12 January 1946 in Balandžiai, municipality of Tauragė) is a Lithuanian politician, former mayor of the municipality of Šakiai Edit LifeQualtext

In 1959, Bertašius graduated from the Balčiai school at Tauragė and in 1963 the construction engineer in Vilnius. From 1965 to 1968 he performed the duty service in the Soviet Army. From 1968 to 1984 he was a civil engineer in "Taikos" -Kolchos. From 1976 to 1982 he completed the diploma study of civil engineering at Vilniaus inžinerinis statybos institutas. He was mayor of Šakiai from 2003 to December 2016.
