Hollandprofil

The Holland profile (form letter HP) is a flat steel profile with a thickening at the edge of a flat side. This thickening (bead) runs over the entire profile length. Due to the bead, the Holland profile is also referred to as a bead profile or bead flat steel. The Holland profile belongs to the hot-rolled profiles and is preferably used in shipbuilding in the steel grades prescribed for this purpose. The (withdrawn) standard DIN 1019 contains 40 dimensions of 80 mm to 430 mm width and 6 mm to 17 mm thickness; the currently valid standard is EN 10067.
