Heinrich Brömse (politician, 1569)

Heinrich Brömse (* 1569 in Lübeck, † April 3, 1632 in Lübeck) was the administrator of the Hansestadt Lübeck. Edit LifeQualtext

Heinrich Brömse was the son of the mayor of Diebeich Dietrich Brömse. He became a member of the patrician circle in 1597, and in 1610 he was a counselor in Lübeck. In the Council, he worked as a combating master of the city from 1629 onwards.

Heinrich Brömse was married to a daughter of the mayor of Gotthard V of Hoeveln. His sons, Dietrich, Gotthard and Andreas Albrecht, later became the town's mayor. One daughter married the councilor Leonhard Elver. Heinrich Brömse was the heir of Gut Stockelsdorf and in 1618 he acquired the estate of Krummesse. After his death, a Wappene epitaph was placed on one of the pillars of the church ship of the Aegidienkirche in Lübeck, where he had been a church priest since 1626. It has probably not been preserved since 1803. His coat of arms, however, is still in the brochure of the organ.
