Community of communes of Pays du Gois
The Communauté de communes du Pays du Gois is a former commune of communes in the commune of Vendée, in the Pays de la Loire region. It was founded on 14 December 2000 under the name Communauté de communes du Marais Breton Nord and later renamed its current name. The local authority consisted of four municipalities, the administrative seat was in Beauvoir-sur-Mer. Historical development Edit source text

The tasks of the municipal council include the promotion of economic development and tourism in the region, the disposal of waste and the maintenance of cultural and sporting facilities. In addition, development plans are drawn up and the industrial and commercial parks are managed.
