Carl-Henning Pedersen (born 23 September 1913 in Copenhagen, † 20 February 2007 in Frederiksberg) was a Danish painter.
Pedersen was autodidact, his artistic education was from 1933 with Else Alfelt (1910-1974), which later became his wife. In 1948, Pedersen was one of the founding members of the Parisian artists group CoBrA, whose name was made up of the initial letters of the cities of Copenhagen, Brussels and Amsterdam from which the founding members came. Pedersen's painting of Ripen from 1982 to 1987 is well-known.
Works by him can be viewed at the Cobra Museum (Amstelveen, Netherlands).
In 1969 he received the Henrik Steffens Prize. On September 5, 1974, Pedersen was defeated as knight of the Order of Dannebrog. In 1976 the Herning Carl-Henning Pedersen & amp; Else Alfelts Museum.
