Alfonsas Gailevičius was a Soviet politician, Generalmajor, Vizeminister.

From 1928 to 1929 he was secretary of Komsomol in Biržai. From 1929 he was a member of Lietuvos komunistų partija. From 1935 to 1940 he was in prison. From 1940 he headed a department of the security authority of Soviet Lions (LSSR) and then NKVD-NKGB of LSSR. From 1948 to 1953 was security minister, and from 1953 to 1954 deputy of the Soviet Minister of Interior. From 1955 to 1959 and from 1963 to 1971 he was Deputat in the Supreme Soviet of LSSR.
