Lymphogenic metastasis

Lymph node metastasis is the spread of the secondary tumors (metastases) of a tumor through the laxative lymph vessels into regional and remote lymph nodes.

An important role in breast cancer is played by the so-called sentinel lymph nodes (sentinel lymph nodes), into which the metastases are transported first along the physiological path.
