Polar Research Institute of China




Polar Research Institute of China, PRIC, is a scientific institute in China that coordinates and supports polar research through appropriate infrastructure, such as research centers in the Arctic and Antarctic as well as the ice breaker Xue Long ("Snow Dragon"). The institute was established in 1989, its head office is in Shanghai, it has 124 employees, the head is Zhanhai Zhang.
