Héctor Beltrán Leyva
Héctor Beltrán Leyva (born 15 February 1965 in Badiraguato, Mexico), El Ingeniero or El H, is a Mexican drug trafficker who, from 2009 until his arrest in 2014, was the head of the Beltrán Leyva cartel. Upon his seizure, the US Government received a reward of 5 million and the Mexican government 2 million dollars. He has been on the list of the 37 most wanted drug users in Mexico since 2009.
The Beltrán Leyva brothers were among the most famous drug traffickers of the Sinaloa cartel, until they split off in January 2008 under the leadership of Arturo Beltran Leyva. After being shot dead by the Mexican navy on 16 December 2009, his brother Héctor was considered the top drug of the Beltrán-Leyva cartel. Since 2009 he has been on the list of the 37 most wanted drugbosses in Mexico.
On 1 October 2014, he was arrested in San Miguel de Allende, central Guanajuato, Mexico. Single-level Edit source text
